Thank You Travel Coaches

RAYBA's Travel Head and Assistant Coaches play a vital role in the development of our boys and girls travel players. Your commitment in both developing the players' athletic skills and instilling the core values of sportsmanship and dedication is what sets our program apart from others. The RAYBA Board wants to thank you for your time and wishes you and your team the best of luck this season.

If you are interested in becoming a coach, please contact a Travel Director for more details. Travel Coach applications will be published in June or July, with interviews to follow.

Mandatory Concussion Training / Code of Conduct Registration

Each Coach and Assistant Coaches for both House and Travel teams, are required to complete an online concussion training / code of conduct registration.

The concussion course created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will educate you on the following:

  • Understanding a concussion and the potential consequences of the injury
  • Recognize concussion signs and symptoms and how to respond
  • Learn about steps for returning to activity (play & school) after a concussion
  • Focus on prevention and preparedness to help keep athletes safe season-to-season

The Code of Conduct defines the expectations for all coaches. RAYBA firmly believes that the sports experience is to be a positive, safe and enjoyable learning experience for youth of the league.

The links below will take you to the CDC course, the concussion completion tracker, and the Code of Conduct registration. The CDC course should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. Once you complete this course, save the completion certificate and upload it to the Concussion Form registration. Lastly, complete the Code of Conduct registration. Successful completion of the course, registration, and proof of certification is MANDATORY. No coach can start the season until these steps are completed.
