Welcome to the 2021 RAYBA 4K Shots Made Challenge
This challenge is open to all boys and girls entering 4th through 8th grades in September of 2021.
**Only complete this registration if you have fully completed the challenge**
All participants who complete the made shots requirement and upload the completed chart to this registration before the deadline of 9/7/21 will receive a t-shirt to commemorate their effort and will also be entered into a drawing for some fun basketball related items.
Each participant is required to make 4,000 shots during the summer of 2021. The rationale behind this is to encourage kids to take good shots with proper form which will translate to better shot selection and shooting form throughout future seasons.
This registration should only be completed when you have completed the challenge. All completed shot charts must be uploaded with this registration by September 7, 2021.

RAYBA is excited to announce the return of the Summer Skills Program! The program will include EIGHT – 60 minute trainings. This is different from the past couple years. All sessions will be held at Rogers Middle School. The cost will be $190 per athlete. When you sign up your player will be assigned a time slot between 8am and 2pm. Dates of training are July 12 – 15 and July 19 – 22. Athletes will have training all 8 days at the same time each day.
Each small group training session will include a maximum of 4 players and a trainer from DTA Academy (the company that provided our trainers for the travel season skills sessions) or Josh Turnquist (one of RAYBA’s Directors of Player Development). These sessions are open to boys and girls entering grades 4 – 8. The focus will be on the fundamentals of ball handling, shooting and scoring.
Due to the availability of gym space, registration will be capped when the slots are full. Registration is currently open and will close when we are full or Wednesday, June 30, whichever comes first. You will receive an email by the end of the day on Thursday, July 1, with your athlete’s time slot.

The RAYBA/Mark Kranz Memorial Scholarship originated in the spring of 2018. Mark was a RAYBA coach, youth mentor, and always willing volunteer. Mark passed away from cancer in the summer of 2017, but his legacy lives on in his children, 2021 Rogers High School graduates, Mason and Maddie.
Maddie recently wrote a short essay about her time in RAYBA and the importance of her father. With Maddie's permission, RAYBA wanted to share this with you.

RAYBA provides youth in the communities of Dayton, Otsego and Rogers the opportunity to play organized basketball through House and Travel programs.
Players should be prepared to practice hard, play hard and have fun in a structured basketball environment. RAYBA provides In-House leagues for grades Kindergarten through 12th (Boys and Girls) along with Boys and Girls Travel teams for grades 4th through 8th.
Teams are coached and/or managed by local volunteers. Tryouts are held in September for the Travel teams. In the event a player does not make a Travel team, they are given the option to play on an In-House team.
