Based on coach feedback and parent surveys RAYBA has made the following changes in order to provide a better basketball experience for everyone:
RAYBA has changed the grades of some of the leagues for Boys House. This was done to align with the Girls House Program and to implement some positive rule changes.

Skills Competition Updated (Grades 3 – 6)
Lay-ups – Each player on the team will attempt a lay-up from both the right and left side
Cluster Shots – The team will take shots from each block and from the free throw line. To start the team will lineup at one block. One player shoots and gets their rebound and passes to the next player in line. This is repeated until 5 shots are made by the team from this spot. Starting with the player who is next in line, the team moves to the free throw line until 5 shots are made. Finally the team moves to the other block until 5 shots are made, meanwhile keeping the same order the entire time. This is a competition against the other team
Chest Passes – Chest passes are performed between players for one minute. For a pass to be counted a player must catch the ball without it hitting the ground. 2 lines are formed across the lane from each other. Teams are competing against each other to complete as many passes as possible in 1 minute.
Bounce Passes - Bounce passes are performed between players for one minute. For a pass to be counted a player must catch the ball cleanly on one bounce. 2 lines are formed across the lane from each other. Teams are competing against each other to complete as many passes as possible in 1 minute.
Speed Dribble – Players will dribble down the court and back weaving in and out of the cones. 5 cones will be staggered going down the court. This is a race between the 2 teams. The dribbler needs to hand the ball off to the next player in line.
Boundary Requirements for House Leagues
Players must attend a school (public, private, or charter) or have a permanent residence within boundaries of schools located in Otsego and Rogers.
Players that do not meet these requirements may register for the RAYBA House Program. The RAYBA board will approve/deny these registrations within 10 days following the registration period deadline. Priority will be given to players who attend school or live in District #728.
